Phone Screen comes on when phone is lifted

After I updated my iPhone 6s to the iOS 10, my phone will turn on to the lock screen when I lift the phone up? Im not sure if its a part of the new update but I find it annoying and draining my battery, how do I turn this feature off?

This is a feature called Raise to Wake. If you want to turn it off, go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Raise to Wake.
